What to expect
At Straits Enclave, guests will be welcomed by an enchanting nostalgic ambiance within a 1928 conserved shophouse. Guest is free to browse and take photos around the museum.
A cultural talk will be given for about an hour, while guest enjoys the Peranakan Kuehs (Snack) and tea. This is the time the guest will be tickled by the history, culture and stories behind the artifacts and displays to encourage them to learn more about Singapore's history and Peranakan culture.

- The Straits Encave is situated on the Second level of the Joo Chiat heritage shophouse. Guest must be able to climb up/down a flight of steps to the second level from the main street.
